So here we are, the last stretch of the semester - FINALS WEEK!
It's weird how my last post on this was about midterms being 3 weeks long and now this post is about finals week. It makes it seem as if school is all about exams. In reality, those 2 weeks you spend studying and taking these exams, are really all about exams. Students lose so much sleep trying to study for their multiple final examinations.
Unfortunately, this semester Baruch doesn't give us a Reading Day for us to get a head start on studying for your exams. Classes have officially ended yesterday and today is the big day - the start date of our finals. We have 7 lovely days to mash our faces into the books just to study for our exams.
But let's look at the bright side. It's only for 7 days, right? Compared to midterms, finals go by much quicker. Some classes have one midterm while others have two. Since the two midterms are spread out, it makes 'midterm week' much longer.
Also Christmas is right around the corner after we have finished with our dreaded exams! I hope you all have something fun to do over the winter break. I know all of my friends do. They are all traveling for vacation and enjoying themselves because they have the money to spend. Unfortunately, I do not so I cannot go along with them. But at least I'll be semi-productive this winter break and do VITA.
I wish everyone luck on their final exams! I bet we all know which exam(s) take place today, right? That's correct, our very own CIS3810 final exam is today! So if you're reading this post right now, I suggest you better go study because that is what I'm going to start doing after I hit the "Publish Post" button once I finish typing this up. Why am I studying for this last minute? Because studying for accounting has taking up my life for the past few days. And that exam is the day after tomorrow! Lucky me.
Enjoy your winter break everyone! Do something fun and maybe I'll see some of you again in the capstone course in the future!
